Deja vu...
19 days later I'm still waiting for the shoes that were supposed to come in about 10 days. She even said "possibly before the gala" which was Last Saturday. Why can't I order shoes and then forget about them until I get a nice surprising phone call one day telling me that they are in? Why do I insist on remembering every day that they are coming? Why do I insist upon torturing you, my poor readers, with empty updates on the non-state of my shoes?

I know! The shop owner has been away though and I wonder if maybe they actually did show up and the girl working didn't realize that they were a special order pair so they are sitting on the shelf. Siiiigh. I think I shall go in tomorrow and inquire :(
Did you get the shoes yet? I checked out the Tara shoes website, really love their tan luggage leather look (closed shoe category). Must be frustrating having to wait so long for those shoes.
Hopefully I won't be waiting quite so long for this new pair as last time (just off to go shopping and pop my head into the store to see if the shoes have actually arrived and they just havn't called me yet). I love the Tara's "Pavadita" in the closed toe. As I'm not into the idea of mail order shoes the ones I'm waiting for aren't Taras unfortunately, but a very nice looking pair of Capezio ballroom shoes. Not the Manolo Blahniks of dance shoes by any means, but exciting to get new shoes nonetheless :)
