I would like to know why learning statistical methods in a quantitative methods course (where I was already supposed to know the stats methods) was so much easier than learning the same thing in the statistics course.

Sometimes it's a good thing not to do the prerequisite courses first-no wonder everyone was so intimidated by all the stats in the quants course. Oiy.
